Aliakbar Shroff is a noted philanthropist and social worker from India. He has been involved with many Charities and Social Projects in India over the last 15 years. He has a business of import and distribution of Body Care products and Exports of stationary products, in addition to being a Real Estate Investor.
Aliakbar is married with 3 children, 2 of whom have joined him in his business and the third is studying.
Aliakbar currently is a Trustee with Kesarbaug Trust, Khoja Girls Orphanage and Haji Nazarali Imambargah. He has also served the KSI Jamaat Mumbai as Secretary for 3 years and as Vice President for 4.5 years. During his association with KSI Jamaat Mumbai he was instrumental in bringing focus around Education, Medical, Economic Upliftment and Capacity Building all of which grew by 3-4 times in a span of 7-8 years.
He was also instrumental in formation of the India Federation (Parent body of all KSI Jamaats of India) in 2013, thereby succeeding in uniting the diverse community across the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana on one platform in India and focusing them towards achieving common developmental objectives and coordinated relief work. Aliakbar has also done few notable Capital Projects including 2 Graveyard projects in Mumbai, the redevelopment of Haji Nazarali Imambargah into a modern facility with state of the art infrastructure, refurbishment facilities at KesarBaug Hall, KSI Jamaat office, Madressa and Arambaug in Mumbai.
Aliakbar was also the JIBA president for Mumbai chapter and went on to serve as the President of JIBA International for one term.

Hasnain S Mewawala
Hasnain Mewawala is a Graduate and having work experience of more than 20 years. He started his career with the Project Division of Expo Gas Containers Ltd., which is into heavy engineering. He is now, the Managing Director of Expo Gas Containers Ltd. He is also on the Board of Directors of Process Plant & Machineries Association of India (PPMAI), which is the Apex Body of Engineering & Construction Companies In India.
Hasnain’s father, Murhum Haji Shaukatali Mewawala was a great philanthropist, who had tirelessly worked for the upliftment of the community throughout his life as the Trustee of KSI Medical Aid & Welfare Society and Kesar Baug Trust. After the demise of Shaukatali Mewawala, Hasanain is continuing the community work since the last 6 years as one of the Trustees on the Board of both these Organizations.
KSI Medical Aid & Welfare Society and Kesar Baug Trust are charitable trusts based in Mumbai, India engaged in providing aid for the Shia community in areas of education, medical assistance and basic welfare in order that the community progresses with knowledge , health and care
Irfan karim is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant from India and has spent over 25 years in the corporate world working in India, Singapore and Indonesia.
His last job was as a CFO with an Indian research and data analytics Company with a global footprint. He took a sabbatical in his career, after completing the sale of the Company to an American MNC. Thereafter he has been working as a Strategy and Finance Consultant with various organizations and businesses.
Irfan’s stint with community social work started in 2007, when he and his friends got involved in supporting parents for primary education of their children in slum areas of Mumbai suburbs. He also admitted many children who were not enrolled in any formal education into local schools. Subsequently over the last few years, Irfan has shifted focus to supporting students from all over India for their Higher Education and Professional Education needs, in line with Syed Sistanis guidance to ensure that our community youth should excel in professional fields. He has also been involved with various community and developmental projects with the Mumbai Khoja Jamat, India Federation and many other Charities.
Irfan karim also has had the opportunity to be involved in numerous Imambargah capital projects (including the first Shia Imambargah’s in the states of Kerala and Goa in India).
He has also collaborated with senior ulema from India and has co-developed, co-facilitated and co-delivered workshops on Islamic Business (Ethics and Principles), Khums, Wills and Inheritance across many cities in India.

Nadeem P Halani
Nadeem Halani is a Science Graduate from Mumbai India and is now working as an Analyst and Service Manager in Deutsche Bank. His overall stint in the banking Industry goes back to 15 years. He started off his community service work in 2008 by volunteering for the economically backward brethren for Medical And Education Aid. Thereafter he was appointed to serve the community in Mumbai Jamaat to handle medical and education cases.
Nadeem Halani has also facilitated for many young students education aid and assistance through Mumbai Jamaat and other community charities.
Nadeem Halani has a family of 6 and lives with his parents, wife and two young children.
